A few days ago I was sitting on the bed of my truck playing around with an electronic cigarette my friend has. It smelled extremely well so i thought why not ill try it. Well this was late in the evening, real calm wind and as i was puffing on the e-cig and blowing it out, a layer of smoke just stayed about 6 feet off the ground just lingering there. And my friend walked about 25 yards past this layer of smoke and said he could still smell it and it was fairly strong. It was blueberry flavored. So this got my mind going. I've seen the products that they have out there that you spray and it leaves scent lingering in the air that supposedly brings deer in. SO What came to mind was what if, say, he got an apple flavored juice for the e-cig. Did the same thing i did early in the morning or late in the evening when the wind gets calm. Do you think it would work the same way the other scent attracting products out there work? I think it just might but i dont plan on trying it out. At least not early into the season but i might towards the end. What are yalls opinions?
Innovation. Repurposing something like the all too common E-cigs and using them for hunting scents would be very clever. I would not want to puff on Estrous urine but there is something in your idea.
I thought about trying this too. I vape a bit once in a while in the evening, sitting in front of the tv watching a movie. Problem is the mod I use to vape is a big ol stainless steel rod with a Nautilus full size tank on it. I might as well get in the stand wit ha 6' tall mirror and swing it around like I'm trying to flag down an air liner.
hahaha i went and bought a panzer mod and a stilair drip tip the clouds that are produced are crazy. im really thinking about getting an apple flavor and try it
I was thinking the same thing this weekend. Black licorice flavor might intice a black bear. But then again, I hate black licorice, so that wouldn't work for me.
I try everything I can to not raise any awareness that something is"different" in their house. If I were are hunting in an apple orchard or are going to feed the deer apples year round then I'd try it.
While I know this was intended to be humor, it makes me wonder about a practical application. Doe urine incense? Just light up a stick and let'er burn. If anyone develops this, I want a dollar every time you sell one.
I guess Tinks owes you quite a few dollars... Tink?s Smokin Sticks Deer or Bear Hunting Attractant - Tinks
