It isn't Big Game Treestands...the company buying Muddy owns more than just Big Game.

I'm curious to see what this all means for the Muddy line if anything...could it bring their price down a touch...but quality stay same...will it up some of the Big Game stuff....curious to say the least.

I'm very curious how this will fold out...I know some of the big game products is pricey already. I just hope they can now bring the prices down a bit to compete with other companies more.

Just hope Muddy's quality doesn't slip. Big Game is cheap and their quality has gone WAAAAYYYY down in the last couple years.

Honestly, I don't foresee any price drop in the Muddy Line. What I see here is a company purchasing an upper end product line to complement their more economical product. Now they have a share of the market all the way from cheap stands to high end stands. Wonder how this will affect Midwest Whitetail as Muddy is one of their top sponsors.

Pretty interesting, wouldn't think it's really going to change either company though. Like Skywalker said looks like just one larger group buying a name brand to add to their lineup. Happens all the time. Hopefully nothing will change anyway

Talked with my buddy at Muddy. It was a win for them and for Mainstream Holdings. They wanted a high-end treestand brand and they wanted to concentrate on Bloodsport Arrows. Muddy will retain holdings till the end of the year.

I agree. I will be buying whatever I need from Muddy before the end of the year. Just to make sure I get the quality product that I have come to expect from them.
