I was sitting in my stand and kinda looking down my arrow and it looks like the vanes would come in contact with my cable when i shoot... Why does it do this?

My mathews monster is similar I just cock the arrow, just split the difference between the two vanes on that side and not really much of an issue for me. Not really sure why some bows are like that.

is that how the rest recommends the cock vane? From the picture, I would rotate the arrow 180 degrees and have the cock vane out. (But I would follow whatever the rest called for)

I just noticed this about two weeks ago on my MR6. Rotated the cock vane out and my arrows group even tighter now. Will be checking that on all my bows from now on.

Since its drop away it shouldn't make a difference how the arrow is rotated on the string. Just preference on where someone likes to start, Now whisker biscuit and prong styles is where he would run into some issues but thats not the case here.

I have the same problem with the Z7Extreme. I turn the fletch away from the cables and with a drop away rest it is no problem. I have had it effect my arrow flight due to contact a couple times before I figured out what the problem was.
