Hey guys My name is Andrew Schoenekase I am not new to bowhunting however I am new to the forum and to filming hunts. Me and a buddy have been fans of the Bow hunt or die Series and last year we bought a couple of cameras to film with and a go pro. We managed to get some footage last year however deer numbers in our neck of the woods were down last year and it was a tough season we never did get a kill on camera. We have access to approximately 4200 acres this year that we have gotten by going door to door asking landowners for permission. We lucked out with one farm totaling 3800 acres and we ran trail cameras all summer long and have a bit of a hit list of our own for the year with several mature bucks over the 130 inch mark. We are going to give it our all this season and with any luck we might get one of our big boys down and on film. I have 11 years hunting experience I started hunting deer with a bow when I was 11 I started hunting with a bow before I had ever even shot a high power rifle and I find that I am addicted to bowhunting much more than the shoulder canons. If anyone has any tricks that make self filming easier I am all ears. I look forward to sharing pictures and videos throughout the season.
Welcome aboard! I will be hunting in MO for the first time this year...near Troy. Really looking forward to it.
I hunt in ralls and pike county in New London and some land near Kansas city area as well. There are some monsters in the troy area I assure you of that.
Welcome Andrew... (that's quite a last name you have there - hehe) Best of luck in your hunting/filming adventures! There's a bunch of guys on here that do that (some professionally) and can give you a bunch of information.
thanks for all the welcomes guys hope I can share some cool footage this year filming in the stand sure does make things a bit harder.
