Well new to me anyway. It's a 2008 Diamond Marquis. My father bought it brand new back in 08 and after last season he decided he's done hunting. He asked me if I wanted his bow and of course I said "HELL YEAH".

Not only is it new to me but it literally had had only about 50 shots through it before it came into my possession. So it is pretty much new new in that sense aswell.

I really like my 2012 Bear Legion and always will but this bow just seems to shoot better for me and feels amazing in the hand. So yesterday I swapped my NAP Apache rest off of my Bear and put it on the Marquis and it shoots amazing.
So does anyone still shoot this bow or had in the past? If so, what was or is your opinion of it?

Still gonna do some things to it but here she is as of now.[IMG][IMG]

I used to have a diamond fugitive and loved it. I did sell it and buy a PSE Sinister but that was only for the shorter axle to axle but I had no complaints on my diamond other than that. Very fast, smooth, and quiet bow in my opinion.

Thanks guys. Hey Matt I know you're very knowledgeable and like Bowtech bows. Is there anything you did to your Marquis or that you would suggest me doing to mine?

I also had a Marquis and I loved it. I shot it for 2 years and killed a few deer with it. I always thought it was a very smooth shooting bow and enjoyed the long axle to axle length.

    Good luck with it!

Yeah I really like the longer axle to axle aswell. It just seems to be an amazing shooter. I love the way it feels in hand.

Nothing in particular. It tunes like any single cam bow. 13/16" off the riser for center shot, maybe 1/8" high for nock points. Mine shot lights out, it was a great single cam.......one of the better ones I've ever shot.

Haha thanks dude... yeah hopefully that's the case. I have a feeling about this season. It came super close last season. Just 2 more steps and I would've had that fork horn. Oh well its gonna happen this year. Haha
