There are a lot of broadheads out there. Any of them could potentially kill a deer. The wound could be bigger on some than others, The penetration might be better, or just the durability. So For as long as YOU have been hunting what was the ONE broadhead that YOU have USED, that you feel was the BEST and which one was the WORST.
Please lets not turn this into the long drawn out broadhead debate of usual, But a good informative discussion.

For me it would have to be:
The worst: 3 blade MEAT SEEKERS. I shot a doe at 12 yards and she ran off. I tracked her for 90 plus yards and found her bedded by a log. I then shot her with a spit fire and she jumped up ran 30 plus and died.
When I recovered her my first shot was spot on. but the BH barely passed the ribs.
My spit fire blew right threw just about 3" away from the first shot.

So far my favorite has been the spitfire. I have used them most and never had an issue with them. Great wounds, great flight, No tuning needed.

Well since 2013 is the only time I was successful in harvesting 3 deer, on 2 I used Rage 2 blade, and the other one I used a Thunderhead, they both worked great, I cant decide. This year I also picked up Muzzy MX3s and also Swhackers, I will give them a shot as well, to each his own!!

I have used many, many heads. Satellite, Wasp, Bear, Kolpin, NAP, Bloodtrailer, Thunderhead, Rocky Mountain, Muzzy, and the list goes on.

My constant and only "go-to" head is Muzzy 3 blade. I seldom have a deer make it out of sight. Penetration is outstanding and they are very durable.

The worst head I ever used was the Wasp Jackhammer. Horrible penetration and would kick out badly on quartering shots.

    Best:
Wasp 3blade 100grain - best blood trail ever /no pass thru.
    Slick Trick's COC RazorTricks125grain - best pass thru's ever.

    Worst:
Zwicky - took forever for the deer to die (my fault, 1st year hunting - I didn't know I had to sharpen them)

I can't comment on what I dislike due to personal experience because I've only ever used Thunderhead 125gr and G5 Montec 100gr, both of which I love(d). I use G5 Montecs now.

I liked the 2 blade Bloodrunners I used for several years but am now switching to Grim Reapers.

Last year I tried an Exodus.... Those weren't for me. On a quartering shot they skipped along the ribs and didn't hit lung due to the steep cutting angle, I found the deer a half mile away still alive. It should've been a perfect shot.

The NAP Nitron is my favorite broadhead of all time, hands down. Small, compact, scary sharp and flew like a dart. Put one of those through a deer's boiler room and most of the time they don't even know what hit them. Unfortunately they stopped making them a few years back otherwise I'd still be shooting them today.
