I decided to build an elevated platform after fishing off the stock deck on my 1872 SeaArk (just built a lightrail around the deck and called it good) and decided I wanted to be just a little bit higher. The deck im building now is with 1x1x1/8 alum tubing and 1/8"thick diamond plate that sits 15" high.
