Is there any ways to practice with my bow during the offseason? I dont know of any ranges near my house as of right now and since I just bought a brand new townhouse $$$ isnt readily available so I guess what I am asking is there any free ways to do so
I have exactly 19 yards to shoot across my basement and into my garage. It's what I do to pass the time.
In my old trailer house I had 13 yards and shot a lot. I was a better shot back then when I did that too. I would place a thumb tack in my foam target and drive it into the target.
I can shoot in my back yard ( I back onto a green space) I've got 80yards tip to tip and I like to shoot no matter what the weather. this winter I shot in -38F Dan
I have 3 lanes in the basement approx 18.5 yards and 70 in the front yard. But with waist deep snow I will take the basement. Hutch
I think that is mainly for gun shooting, but if the range didn't mind you could shoot you could shoot bow when the range was empty. I shoot in my basement or garage, I'm only shooting about 5 yds but it keeps my arm in shape. If I want longer range the local bow shop has a small inside range it's about 20 yds. they charge $8 an hour to shoot.
