I got two black 60 cams for Xmas. I finally got a chance to put them out last week. I checked them today and both have pinkish pics. The first one had only couple pink pics but the 2nd has probably 70% pink pics. Both had new batteries and both new Sandisk 16GB cards. Formatted with cam, does anyone have any ideas what might be going on. It happens al times of the day,not just at transition times. Added a couple good pics for comparison
looks like it could be a sticking filter. but low light fools with the camera alittle. what MP you have it set at?
Im with pastorjim and jake_ Stuck filter, either contact support through their website or Pat (gutone4me)
maybe try the 8mp setting and a different SD card, probably wont help though. I say give it a few days and see if it gets worse or better. But Covert is very easy and quick to deal with through their website > https://www.covertscoutingcameras.com/Contact.html
not the sd card i had a mp6 do the exact same thing and they told me it was just the sd card so i bought a new one and had the same thing so i sent it back.
Stuck filter Green pics = sd card Pink pics= stuck filter Being its new it might need to shoot a few hundred pics to free it up good if not drop us an email at ... https://www.covertscoutingcameras.com/Support.html
Thanks guys. I'm trying a new card right now. I will give them another week in front of my feeder so I get lots of pics.
Had similiar issues with the 2013 Covert Red40. Like Pat said...stuck filter. They will take care of you. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I checked my cams again and the one Black 60 working good, but the other is still taking about 90%n pink pics. I guess I'm going to call Covert tomorrow. Thanks for all the replies.
