I know how it sounds :D But, my girl and I just started with this sport and we found that it's awesome fun! we're still shooting un-moving targets for now :p
the problem is that we share just one bow. I have a Genesis pro bow, and she finds it hard to wield it. So, I was wondering if there is a lighter girl-friendly compound bow we can get for her. any suggetions?

    Thanks

@trial153 I'm also looking to purchase a new compound bow, not a girlish one ;p but one that would be easy to learn. so far, just one looks appropriate (for god's sake a child is holding it, so how difficult can it be?!). can you tell me anything about that model, please?

There are a number of fully adjustable bows out there like the Diamond or Mission Craze. If you both got one of those, and she decided she didn't want to hunt, it'd be easy to change it to your setup as a backup bow :)

Just buy a cool bow and put pink accessories on it.

That is the best idea as long as she finds a bow she likes and is comfortable with. If you just go with a green camo and she ends up not liking it you will have a much easier time selling it if you decide to. Have you found a bow for her yet?

Hoyt Ignite or the PSE Fever both are very adjustable and very reliable.

Gotta agree. Any bow can be girly with the right accessories. My first bow was a Hoyt Rampage XT with my accessories I wanted. I now have a Mathews Jewel and love it. That's the good thing about bows these days, they're very customizable. Mission line is also a great starter bow.

I agree with the others of infinite edge. That was my first bow last year, then I upgraded to insanity and wife's got the infinite edge now. She's a big pink fan too so got pink cables/string, sweet pink wrist sling from HuntMaine on here, gonna do pink quiver, case, release, and made some arrows with wraps and vanes. Pretty much the full on girly pink package. Heard good things about the other bows mentioned too, just never tried them myself to compare.

My wife got her first bow today, a Bear Finesse. It has pink strings and a pink bear logo, yet still has real tree camo so it does not look too girly. She has never shot before so I had to lighten the draw weight as it came with 50lbs. She loves it.
