QuietKat Off-Road Elective Vehicle | QuietKat Sorry if there is already a thread about this. I saw this on TV last nite. It is pretty interesting but very expensive what are your thoughts?
I agree it does look cool. I just don't have that kind of $ to throw around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I initially thought these looked but the more I look at them and think about the concept, the more I think I'd like one or something similar. I think I'm going to build one this winter. I think I can build something similar or better than that for $1000-$1500 pretty easily. No way in hell would I spend $4500+ on one...good grief.
Would defiantly help getting to the stand with getting so sweaty. That's the problem I run into. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When I first saw them I thought they might be around a $1000 which is pricey but it would be fun to use to get to the stand and to check cameras. This price is crazy I dont know how they will sell very many.
Lol **** that! That's $500 less than I paid for my truck! I think I'll save my money and walk the extra 500 yards so the deer don't hear the truck...
I can't see myself on one of these. Well, maybe when I'm 70 and if I have a nice, clean, flat trail to get to my stand. This thing would be useless to me where I hunt. It can't possibly have enough pull to climb the hills where I hunt and with all of the logs and limbs lying across the trails I'd be carrying it more than I'd be riding it. It might be a good thing to have if I were out in Kansas or some other flat terrain, but even then I'm not sure I'd want anyone to see me riding it.
I like the concept. Problem is the price... I guess if you have more money then you know what to do with then its awesome. For that kind of money I will stick with a 4 wheeler as it has way more capabilities. Get the DNR to sign off on it for public land use and I might change my mind, and I stress might!
4500 for a tricycle that runs on a battery no thanks you could build something much cheaper and it'd be a fun project.
Just doesn't look like it could handle the terrain I hunt in without losing the rider somewhere along the way.
Think that price is ridiculous. Can't imagine that many people ever forking out that much money for one of those.
I agree. Way too expensive. A would take a 4 wheeler any day over that for the price. I can see the usefulness of it, but you still have to park it and walk to your stand at some point. You can't pull or carry a deer with it, so the only purpose is to cut down on the walking distance to your hunting setup. However, many of us don't hunt perfectly flat land. Throw in mud, snow and high grass or dense crops, the uses for it diminish greatly.
