Took a nice doe last evening. 30yrd shoot. She jumped up, landed, walked about 20feet, fell over. It was perfect as by the time I got out of my tree(half hour) it was dark... hate tracking at night.
Ill try to get some pics up... need to figure out how to get them from my phone to this computer.

Congrats...love those "short" tracking jobs...my buck died 40 yards away from tree this year in clear site...this color blind boy could follow that trail haha! :)

Cograts! Were there any bucks in tow?

Just wondering about the rut...seems later this year than the past few.

Cablebob. No not on this hunt but. I went on a morning hunt the same day and saw bucks chasing does. Two bucks came out of nowhere and started sparing 85 yrds in front of me. I heard others sparing in the bush as well. They weren't giviner but just some soft sparing. I expect that within a week-week and a half they should be in full rut... ill be their waiting bow in hand.

    hypodermic.
The shot was from about 30ft up caught both lungs. Not sure about the rage hypodermics... the arrow barley came out the other side. Im shooting 28" DL, and 65# should have blown thru like she wasn't even their. The hole on the entry was as I expected. The hole on the exit wasn't much bigger then the arrow diameter. I will be going back to the Slick Tricks for sure. At least they got the job done.
Ive never had a deer not run after being shot. It was strange to see her just walk a few yards and fall over.
