I was just wondering if you guys wouldn't mind sharing pictures of the areas you guys hunt and some success pictures. A lot of you have seen these pictures already, I just thought I would get the ball rolling
10-4 just as soon as I get a chance to go a field, been tough this year but still have till mid Dec. till it opens. I will be better prepared this year, shot from last season, no chains and nonstop rain, what an adventure...stuck there a few days longer than planned...sky shot was sent to me by another brother.. inspiring.
I'll share a few pics of our elk area. I need to learn how to post them in thumbnails; don't know how to do that.
Christine Way to go on your first elk hunt. We all learn what it takes to get an elk Thanks for sharing your story. JGD, awesome pictures and some beautiful country SPOTnStalk, Ya got to love the mud Slugger, Thanks for sharing
Yesterday we headed west and south. Got my first black-tailed jackrabbit. (or antlerless jackalope ) Climbed some rocks. Saw elk (including a nice bull), mule deer, over 100 turkeys, many jackrabbits, pronghorns and hardly any people. BTW, I talked with a young couple from CT who were driving through Utah. I asked them what they thought and they said it was pretty "but there's nothing to do out here". Yep. It's awful out here.
Christine there right, we just have dessert here. There is nothing out here Funny what people perceive as nothing to do. My sister moved out near Boston a few years ago and a guy had a deer archery target he was practicing on and the neighborhood was all upset. They asked my sister to sign a petition to have him take it down. My sister told them where she comes from we shoot the real thing and show it off. Needless to say her neighbors didn't talk to her for about a month. All but one anyway
All I have on my new phone is my out west kill pics. Here is my 2013 Elk And here is my 2013 Mule deer. I have a few buzz worm pics also. Ill try an hook my old phone up to wifi an get my Elk scenery pics off of it as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk
Man, I can't wait to get out again! Buck fever and Cabin fever can be explosive! Practice shooting is good medicine though. Keep sharing your Big Game pictures -
Sorry it took so long, but here is a picture from my hunt this year and of the area I live in. The rest wouldn't upload
190" Mule Deer from the back and front from my Deer Area. Solid 4x4 with about 6" flyers on both sides, decided to name him Pilot.
