I just want to know everyone's opinion on which type of crossbow they prefer, and why they think one type is better than the other. This is purely for my knowledge base because I only have experience with traditional crossbows (non-compound/strictly limbs), specifically the brand Excalibur. From my experience those things are bang on and lightning fast, and they have enormous kinetic energy as I'm sure most crossbows do regardless of their make or style. I believe the one I use at the moment is the Excalibur Exomax, with a 225lb. draw weight and 350 fps speed. Deer don't stand a chance once they make it within range unless its by hunter error.
