Finally got some time to upload my Mini Max plot.

First off I want to thank jake_ for helping me out this spring with everything I needed to do. I originally planned on doing this plot in the spring but after too much rain and busy planting I didn't get time. I did a soil test and limed accordingly after clearing all the debris.

Here is the plot before cutting more trees down and raking. 5/9/2013

Here is the plot area after being raked. The girlfriend was a real trooper and helped get the job done a lot faster. 5/11/2013

Here is the plot before I hand sprayed the entire area. I sprayed the whole thing once and came back and spot sprayed two more times. 5/28/2013

Here is the plot right before I spread fertilizer and the seed. The ground was terribly hard. 7/19/2013

    The mini max.

Some of the gear that I used.

The plot on 8-16-2013. It's a start but need another good rain or two.

Thanks guys! Doing plots like this solely by hand is a lot of work but you sure do feel accomplished when it is done.

All of the logs and trees that were cut down from this area were placed along the perimeter of the plot to help funnel the deer in by only using two trails. So far it seems to be working out well.

The plot looks great. I planted my plots last Tuesday and they still look the same. No rain in over a week. We are really dry and need rain.

shade is good and bad. Good thing is that come blistering hot days like we will get this week, it wont be in the wide open baking all day.

No complaints on rain by me in central Wisconsin!.

But ya, hope some rain comes your way. Thanks for the update.

The plot is really starting to fill in on the edges now. Some browsing activity but hoping it picks up soon. This was as of 9/29/13.

I do not have anything from above because I do not have a stand directly over it but I can try to sometime.

I meant like just standing looking straight down on the plot with the camera at chest height. Here is a picture to give you a idea. That way you can see what is all in the mix so to speak.
