I really liked the chill then the creed with the spider last. I ended up buying a ballistic since its very similar to the chill but a lot cheaper! Cant go wrong with any of those choices Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
My personal preference is the Creed. Best, smoothest bow I've shot. May not be the fastest but ill take smoothness over speed everyday. The draw cycle is amazing. All 3 bows you mentioned are great bows though
^what he said^ All 3 are great bows. But the Creed seemed to standout more and more to me. I looked at a lot of different bows. I thought about it over and over and eventually, it came home with me.
I've shot the Spyder at it is awesome. Very smooth, fast, and forgiving. I can't say anything bad about the others because I haven't shot them. Others really seem to like them.
Buy them all so you don't have to choose! lol I like all of them but taking away the brands and comparing bow to bow I personally liked the Spyder it just seemed to fit me better then the other two but I liked them as well. All are very good bows.
I shot the Creed, and Chill, and was considering buying a Creed. That is until I shot the Spyder 30 and came back to my senses. I shoot a blacked out Spyder 30. My buddy bought a Chill this year, only to sell it a couple months later to buy a Spyder 30. My other friend sold his Z7, his monster, then shot all the '13 Mathews. He also decided to buy a Spyder 30. This board is 90% dominated by Mathews, (look at the sponsors) just consider that when reading the replies.
I wouldn't say that is the predominant factor in why I chose my Creed. Hands down, the creed was the best bow to me that I shot. I shot everything from Bowtechs, Hoyt's and PSEs and the Mathews Creed was the best bow out of all of them. I have previously shot Bowtech so there isn't a Mathews bias on my part, besides they hands down have the best bow out on the market right now IMO.
Hoyt Spyder is an awesome bow. I've shot the Creed and the Chill and thought they were both great bows I just ended up going with the Spyder. Smooth draw, no vibration, fast and I think they are a really cool looking bow.
I've shot all three several times. All I have ever owned bow wise is Mathews(shoot a Heli-M right now). That being said I'd buy the Spyder between the three you have named. Bow is pretty dang sweet. I was not impressed with the Creed an Chill at least not enough to get rid of mine for one.
I would go with your priorities. Obviously all three bows seem to be great choices. I would look at specifications and determine what you like and don't like. Do you like speed? Do you prefer a smooth draw cycle? Do you prefer single cam or dual? I would look at the companies of the bows that you're choosing. Do they have great customer service and reputation? I would also look at cost. I would look at how it feels in your hand. The grip is a big thing for me. Overall I would make your choice based on all things considered and not just opinions. Btw I shoot a Mission.
I haven't shot the Spyder yet as the Hoyt dealer in town closed. I have shot the Creed and the Chill though and for me the Chill just put the Creed to shame. I actually told the owner that I don't even now why he even has any Creeds on the wall. I'm probably in the minority and since I have really started shooting as many bows as I can I have always preferred 2 cam and hybrid cam systems over single cams.
