how much practice?

bout how many days a week do some of you guys practice and how many arrows do you put down range when you do get practice ?

 

Couple days a week at least 20 arrows. Will increase closer to season.

 

I shoot a lot just cause its what I love doing. Usually 5-6 days a week 50-100 arrows a day. Its not uncommon for me to shoot a few hundred arrows on a saturday.

 

I shot about 24 arrows per day: 6 arrows per length 20, 30 & 40 yds.

 

I like to shoot a lot and even more when the season comes. When I do shoot, I put around 50 down range unless I'm at the pro shop- in which case I shoot a lot more.

15-30 arrows every day from now thru the end of the season. Proper preparation equals perfect performance. Piss poor preparation equals piss poor performance
And yes their are other versions of the saying.

 

30 arrows 40 yards 4days a week. Then ill usually shoot everyday starting in September.

 

Every day come home from work shoot move shoot again.At least 30 arrows ..110 here right now. Just think about that one shot that might be coming Good Lord willing.

 

i was shooting about twice a week and then it got so hot that i just dont wanna get everything out and start sweating like i have ran a marathon before i even fling an arrow so unless its indoor i dont do much when is 100 degrees outside lol but i ususally shoot about 20 to 50 arrows when i do shoot. i usually shoot till i get tired and stop so i dont practice bad habbits

 

30 arrows a day every day.

 

This is pretty much exactly the same as my practice routine. Sometimes a few different times throughout the day if not busy that day.

 

Depends on my schedule. Right now, Im pretty busy with my projects at home, so it's only a once a week deal, about 20 arrows. This will increase once I get my new strings in and need to setup everything again. I would like to shoot more, but I know it's enough to keep me confident.

 

About 20 arrows a day maybe 5 days a week. I find if i shoot to much i put my form at risk from fatigue. I take my shots nice and slow.

 

I'm getting ready to start shooting everyday. I usually shoot throughout the day, 30-40 arrows at a time, start at 20 and work my way back in 5 arrow intervals. I used to only go out to 40, but with my new bow and target location, I'll start going back further, just for practice.

 

I like to shoot a lot. Going to try the whole 3D thing this weekend so I have been shooting a lot more. Typically shoot 20 "blind" or at 10 yards or less, eyes closed and practice on back tension and proper form. Then I shoot 3 at 20, 3 at 30, 3 at 40, 3 at 50, and back to however long I feel like (typically 80ish yards).

 

I usually shoot every day, for about 1-5ish hours depending on how I'm feeling, I don't relly know how many arrows I would shoot, but yes, I do like to practice a lot, because my dad and older brother both think I won't be able to kill a deer, so I like to practice heaps to prove them wrong and just because I love shooting my bow.

 

At least 2 times a week. Maybe 30-40 arrows. I shoot outside in the heat from an elevated position. Getting ready for the heat here on Opening Day Sept. 7th.

 

I shoot about 20-30 a day and more as the season gets closer.

 

Last year I shot much more, maybe 5 days a week for 1-3 hours...however many arrows that is. My neighbor complained that I was shooting towards his property though, so now I have to go somewhere to shoot which takes a lot of time away from my practice. I only get out a few times a week now, if I'm lucky.

 

I haven't shot since my league ended in March. Will probably start shooting 2 or 3 times per week in August.
