Hi, I have a bear apprentice 2 at about 50 pounds, and I really like the idea of a single pin sight, does anyone know one that will be easy on the wallet but still work good, and let me know (for hunting), if you like your single pin Sight or if you prefer a multi-pin sight
I usually prefer a single pin. This year I decided to go a different route and try something new on my setup. I have a brand new HHA single pin that I'm selling in the bow hunting gear section. Its over a $200 sight I'm asking $160 for it. PM me or text me if you're interested 443 988 1216. Your bow is setup fine for a single pin regardless though.
I was in the market for a single pin slider myself, done a lot of searches look'n for info & HHA seemed to be the one everyone agreed on, wound up buy'n a Try Glo range rover for half the price of a HHA but time will tell the story if its as good, not that I found any bad info on the tru glo but when it comes to single pins HHA was the fan fave.
I have an HHA DS-XL 5519 and love it. And I can tell you first hand, nobody beats HHA's customer service. Blessings........Pastorjim
Rework page been using them for years - simple, easy to use and dependable. Sight it in for 20 yards and you are ready
Well, I'm glad to see that there are at least a couple others besides myself who shoot a single pin sight that isn't an HHA. Mine's a Trijicon Accupin / Accudial.
I have an HHA and love it. I use it for target shooting and the walking trail shooting at the hanging bag targets. While I do love the sight, I took it off and put on a Montana Black Gold adjustable 3 pin sight so I can get used to it for hunting season. This will be my first year hunting and was thinking that I may not be able to make sight corrections without getting busted from extra movement so I opted for the sight mentioned above and have pins set at 20, 30, and 40 yards with the 40 a floater for longer distances. After hunting season I will put my single pin HHA back on because I like shooting it with the smaller peep and a lens.
