    Who's got one running and how close are you? I'm at 41 days and by the time I get my bow, I'll be just under a month.

    I am still in no rush hoping it gets here. Plan on enjoying the rest of summer and chilling out with Britney scouting and running trail cameras.

    The wife wants to spend more time visiting with family. I need to make more trips to mom's and help her out. Going to be a busy summer but a fun one.

    Being the inexperienced hunter I am, I put in for only the early hunt. Nevada will only give you one tag per species, and I waited to put in for Elk or Antelope until I got my new bow. I was confident that the one I currently have would drop a deer, but nothing else. Now that I'm getting my bow earlier, I'm planning on putting in for Elk next year

    Ill be bowhunting Aug 1 for 3 weeks straight, with a few travel days scattered in there.

    Kentucky then opens up Labor Day weekend as always.
