The reg Apache is bigger, bulkier, a little heavier, the slot to load the arrow is on top at a 12oclock position. The carbon is the latest version of the Apache is smaller, lighter, and the arrow load slot is at like a 10-11oclock position. The difference is slots is because some people were having trouble loading the arrow from the top because their site housing was making it difficult.

Other than that the difference is price. :D I have the regular model got it brand new for like $50 on eBay. It works great for me.

I bought the QAD HDx ultra drop away. By far the best rest I have ever used. Full capture and when you release your arrow it then drops to the shelf. Absolutely AWESOME!!!

Ive shot the down force for years on my z7 and recently upgraded with my new bow to the qad ultra rest. Id highly recommend either. The QAD is hands down the best rest ive shot.

I switched from the QAD ultra rest to a Trophy Taker Smackdown Pro and haven't looked back. Not saying QAD and NAP Apache aren't great rest. I love the limb driven rests, they are just so simple to set up and work flawlessly.

X2 one of easiest to setup and one of the most accurate. Limb driven rests are more reliable not much to them.

I'll be trying out the Axion Pulse rest this season...can't wait to see what it has to offer. I've fallen for Axion Archery gear as my stabilizer and sights will also be from them this season.
