I'm shooting a hoyt spyder turbo at #70 and a 29.5 draw. What arrow length would allow me to shoot 330s instead 300s? I just thinking about trying some new arrows out but not to many come in 300s.

I thought you meant 330fps for a second.

Arrow length is not important it's the weight. You could try pse radial x weave 200's but that's alittle underspined. You should be shooting the 300 which will give you about 305 fps. Why would You want to shoot past 300-310 fps? Sanctioned 3d tournaments chrono and kick out anyone over 308 fps. You won't be able to group a fixed blade broadhead past 310 anyway and I would never shoot expandables.

Arrow length does have a factor when it comes to the spine of an arrow. I'm not talking about fps I'm talking about the spine.

I just switched from Gold tip kinetic 300 to the carbon express maxima hunter 450's and love them (300 spine)

    PM tfox.

I was shooting fixed blades at 315 fps all day long, out of a short brace height bow, with no problems at all. It's all about the tune.

if you want to shoot a lighter spine then shorten up the arrow. that will make them stiffer.
