I told myself that once I got my mount back I would ask you guys again. How old is this buck? I figure a mature deer that's why I shot him. Does the chocolate on his rack represent his age any? Just was wondering. My guess is a solid three year old. I tracked him for a year and a half before I put an arrow in him if that helps any. A[IMG][IMG]nyone think older or younger

Impossible to say, do you have the jaws? If you do you can either molar age it (not very accurate)or send it in to get cementum aged which is as accurate as it gets

I would say 3 years old roughly, but I hunt a different body size, antler sized whitetail here in Wisconsin. Here I would consider a 2 1/2 year old. But none the less a great whitetail. He has a lot of what everyone wants. Mass, Character, nice brows, dark rack. Nice buck!
