Would you ever spend the money on a Mathews Craze and intend to use it, lets just say if you were at an age of 21 and older if so why? and if not why?

Sure, why not? If you don't want to drop a load of cash on a bow the Craze will kill deer just as well as a Creed will. And with the adjustability of that bow the resale value will always be there. I think it goes from like 15-70 lbs and 19 to 29" draw.

yeah the adjustable poundage is got my friend thinking about getting one to use and then after hes done with it he was going to give it to his kid. Just not sure if its really cut out for me.

What would the downfall be if he chose this bow over another bow?

Wouldn't hesitate if I was in the market for a great adjustable bow! My cousin has one and she loves it.

I'm just trying to figure this out...why doesn't everyone one and shoot them since they are adjustable and a lot cheaper. ..there has to be a downfall or everyone would use them...

great bow for sure! I feel the only down fall is that the craze is on the mission line which means that it views towards the younger crowd like kids. That is why is has such a crazy draw weight and specs. My brother has one and he will use it until he wants to buy another one!!

I don't think there is technically a downfall to shooting a craze. Most bow companies out there now manufacture bows from low price ranges to high. Not every bow hunter out there is looking to spend $900 plus for a bow, but then again there is. My girlfriend shoots a craze and its a perfect bow for her. There are a couple things on the craze that I didn't care for like the plastic limb pockets and cam modules. Not saying that I noticed them causing a problem or if they ever will. I also didn't like that I couldn't put an HHA on the bow because the cable rod protrudes from the riser of the bow and doesn't allow it. Overall the Craze is a great bow for that price range.

Total agreement with Justin. Great starter and resale is a important factor in buying one.
Some shooters might not be looking at a brand a a status symbol like other shooters.

I was looking at them a few years ago when my wife surprised me with a Z7. I would never have spent the money on the Matthews when I could get the Mission for that much less. I think either bow would be great. So, yeah, I would buy the Craze without hesitation if I was in the market for a new bow.

Our Chevy Malibu is a good car. Does everything we need it to. I wouldn't hesitate buying another or recommending it to someone else.

I'll be damned if I'd trade a Porsche in on one though.

here brings me to my next question on this bow....lets say your 6'5" would this bow be a good buy for you? since the axle to axle on this bow is 28". I think the taller you are this bow would be harder to shoot meaning harder to keep it steady when shooting. Thanks for all the responses so far its greatly appreciated I'm just trying to figure this out so when I talk to him I can give him a better understanding about the ups and downs on this bow.

I'm not sure you would be able to get enough draw length out of the Craze for a 6'5" shooter.

The mission craze is a great bow. The only down fall is the ATA for the longer draw. when you have any bow with a short ATA you will get an extreme string angle with a longer draw. In turn you will be less consistent . It will no doubt work really good though.
If he is taller have him look at the RIOT It is still adjustable and is longer ATA. ( kind of like the big brother to the craze)
Mission makes great bows and they have all of the same qualities as the Mathews bows.
They are just made less expensive to be able to get into a different price point.

Also make sure they check his draw length if he is 6' 5" he might have a 31-32" draw which could exclude a lot of the bows out there made by Mathews and mission
