I always enjoy looking at pictures of other people's hunting shacks or cabins. Post some pictures of the places you go to. Feel free to post pictures even if you don’t own the cabin but go there.
My favorite place in the world. I have not done a ton of hunting up here other then countless miles of unsuccessful grouse hunts and some turkey hunting. Its on a large piece of state land, but its hard to get away from the crowd with the amount of dirt roads that spider web their way through it all. But I have been seeing more deer up there, so think I will start bow hunting it in the next couple years. There is also great fishing around, some pretty sweet hiking areas, and its far off the main road and pretty nice and quite. Can see a few neighbors but not right on top of them, and the closest ones are hardly ever there. The closest neighbor on the other side is my cousin and has been in the family for 75+ years, and is the end of the road, so adds a lot of privacy knowing if anyone comes back there, they are either coming to our cabin or his. No running water, outhouse for a bathroom, creek for a bath, no cable/internet, most dont get service, and I wouldnt have it any other way! Going up next weekend to do some fishing! And maybe try to find a gobbler.
Bought this for $100. Needs alot of work but hopefully by the end of summer it will be ready for deer season! Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
Pictures of the cabin are old. We've since redone the top floor (added a second bathroom, tore off the roof and added a new one, new hardwood floors, modified floorplan, etc., 1200 acres 20 minutes from my driveway. Not the best hunting, but a great place to escape:
I wanna be you when I grow up! That railing is still one of the coolest things I ever seen. I hope to copy that one day.
I guess I should share mine. I don't have any good inside pictures. Here is what I do have but I'll add some better ones this weekend.
Just send a check for $99.95 + 9.99 for shipping and handling and I'll send you the copyrights to it.
