Sitting in traffic, slowly going by fields wishing i was our there calling. I don't get another chance to go out again till sat.

What about you guys. What's the worst thing during a hunting season that keeps you from the stand/blind/trail.

Family. Oh and my turkey season doesn't open till May 8th. That keeps me from hunting as well.

    Work.

I work retail management and my work schedule peaks at the time I should be hitting the woods. Makes me grumpy and irritable.

Its usually school but my schedule for next year is pretty nice. It looks like ill have a lot of time to spend in the tree if there isnt a homework overload.

    Worst thing.....WORK

Not so worst but does seem to be keeping me out of the woods would be the kid's sports. Daughter is in travel softball that is pretty much a year round sport with tournaments and all the practices. My son has been in Little League and flag football. Need to find a good balance between all that!

Having to schedule off for work. Never fails the weather is crap when my scheduled time arrives and perfect before & after. For turkey season that usually means heavy rain and deer season usually means high temps(followed by a cold snap when I return to work.)

I hear ya! When I was in the Air Force, I shipped out to Central America 2 days before the season started one year.
