How many days a year do you hunt?

Just curious to see on average, how many days a year do you guys (gals) deer hunt? This past season I think I got out about 25-35 times. I hope I can add more on to that once I get my drivers license this upcoming fall

 

Good luck with the DLs but as for me probably about the same 30 to 40 times because I work all through the year plus school im pretty much a weekend warrior but if I can get out during the week during the season im game too so yeah I cant wait till season comes in my trigger is itchy im so ready to get back in the woods other than family hunting is all I think about im addicted.

30 to 40 days, would be more if that work thing would quit getting in the way.

 

If you're talking actual hunts I would say less than 20 on average I actually start getting antsy if I put in more time than that Im all about the plan scouting and preparation. That and I'm married with two kids in sports

 

Not nearly enough, i got out 36 times last fall.

 

25-30 days, generally two hunts a day

 

Usually around 40 times including gun season.

 

20 maybe 25 times max last season, its hard with a full time job an a 4 year old hahahaha

 

At least every weekend until I fill all of my tags!

 

Season opens october 1st, im out 2 days every week until rut hits. Then im out a week straight. Then after that shotgun seasons start. I usually hunt 1st season for 2 days and then take 2nd season off. Late season it just depends on if I need more meat for the freezer. So really 20-30 give or take a few.

I would say somewhere around 20ish. Luckily there is also Dove hunting in September and Turkey so i at least get to hunt every weekend from September to January and a few times in the spring

 

Last year I was at 47. The previous 3 or 4 years I was around 30. All of that does not include the WI Rifle Season.

 

Depends on the year and where I am hunting and what tags I have drawn ...I would say an avg of 14+ days a month from sept to dec most years.

 

Just registered, have been browsing this site for a few months have gotten some useful info. My buddy and I went 92 times last year season starts in Sept ends in Feb. Both kids in college somewhat empty nest its been great.

 

50+ days. (sept 7th - Jan 31st)

 

I have averaged 4 sits per year the past 3 years. 1 sit tagged out 3 years ago, 6 sits tagged out 2 years ago, and 5 sits last year never drawing back the bow (school related this past year, not tag related)

Hope to double that number this fall, lol.

 

29 sits in stand last season. Tagged out on the morning of the 29th day. Usually about 30-40 sits each season.

 

At my age... 365... I hunt for my glasses, I hunt for my keys, I hunt for my Truck everytime I come out of Wallmart.

 

Probably over 50 pretty easily with deer and turkey being the most time spent. Never kept track. My girlfriend would say it is way higher than that. Still do some small game hunts too when time permits.

 

last year about 15-20 half day sits....about 10-15 all day dark to dark sits..=empty freezer!!! LOL
