    nice job. im getting my lap puppy in about three weeks. how hard was it to train him/her to find sheds?

    I had a few sheds I'd use to train with. He got really excited about looking for them when I hid them. Then it was a lot of walking. This one was close to my cabin though. We saw it at the same time but I made sure he recognized it was an antler and then I praised him non-stop. I tell him to "hunt the antler" when we are looking... He is usually content with finding deer crap though. I just love having him with me when I walk the woods.
