Personally I think this is getting serious, deploying Warships and Aircraft to the region was needed. This guy is crazy and just might do the wrong thing!I'm also about sick of his **** as well!

I doubt anything will come of it but we shall see. Hopefully not, Korea is one place I really don't want to go to war with anytime soon.

I hear ya but this guy is a nut job. I have a bad feeling that when I wake up one of these mornings in the near future and read the news the Headline is not going to be good!

I think they will try to start something, but won't be able to deliver, at least as advertised (LA, DC, Hawaii and Austin?!). I suspect they could try to fling a few over the pond, but more across their southern border.

And yes, 'being nuts' apparently can be genetically inherited.

My wife's from S Korea. She still has a lot of family there. We're worried this time. Kim Hong Il was nuts but he wasn't stupid. Kim Hong Eun is crazy and stupid. Plus, the US is being led by the most incompetent White House in American history. Bad combination all the way around.

I think the guy is just dumb or crazy enough to start something. Then I worry China taking his side if we retaliate.

They have threatened us and I think we would be justified to wipe them out right now.

Lets be realistic, if we didn't still have American troops in South Korea would this mighty midget really be any threat to us?
Using restraint isn't my strong suit, my first reaction most times is to be smart and throw the first punch...but I this case I am not so sure. For a couple reasons. China ...though it would be a good excuse to wipe some debt off the books...
and second I really believe we don't have leaders in this country like we did pre World War II....we have the capability to basically wipe North Korea off the map...but our elected officials and the dirt bags leftist in the media will be more concerned with " minimizing civilian casualties " saving the pigs and chickens ect ect .....same crap we did in recent wars, took 5 times as long as we should have and cost 1000times more then it needed to...all for appearances..
So at this point I think if it isn't an imminent threat...then I don't trust our government handle it efficiently.

Don't take any of this a slap against our military, if your put our military in charge instead of the politicians ...I would have a condo in Afghanistan already and be arrowing goats or what whatever runs around those mountains.

Amen. In fact, if the politicians had stayed out of the way to begin with there wouldn't even be a North Korea.

Hopefully China will pressure Eun to throttle it back a bit. S. Korea is the most immediate target with a large American presence. I expect a skirmish along the 38th Parallel just to test the resolve of S Korea and to test our degree of unity with them.
