Seriously. I can't even watch Sportscenter in the morning anymore. Between every highlight, we have 2 morons yelling at each other about some insignificant "controversy" or we have them running a story into the ground. Plus they are such freaking hypocrits. Take this Rutgers coach abuse story. They are going to run with this story until the coach and the AD are fired, this is obvious with the amount of coverage they are giving the story. I would really like to hear what ESPN employees, Ray Lewis and Bobby Knight, have to say about this story...
BSPN blows so hard. I am not a Heat, Lakers, Yankees, USC, Duke or NYJ fan so that network serves no purpose for me. I remember when I was in high school and I would get up a little earlier just to watch "Cold Pizza", it was actually a good morning sports talk show. Then it became "ESPN First Take", which was bad, but it got even worse after it became two hours of Skip and Stephen A. making ******s of themselves. What a joke. The only person I really like is Colin Cowherd, I enjoy listening to his morning show in the summer.
The success of PTI seems to have been the downfall of ESPN. PTI was the first debate format type show in which the host just yelled at each other for 30 minutes, and since then, that seems to be all ESPN has become. People yelling at each other.
ESPN ESPN2 ESPN3 ESPN4 ESPN5 ESPN for women, ESPN for morons, ESPN>.............the watering down of a good product=cheap beer of the sports world.
They just fired Rice. I rarely watch ESPN, because it blows. If I watch anything, its usually Dan Patrick.
DP was good in his younger days but I just find him nauseating these days as I think it all went to his head. He just strikes me as having this attitude.
I usually just watch ESPNEWS. Check the ticker for the scores I want and change the channel. Sportscenter was great 15-20 years ago. It's beyond lame now.
I tried to watch Sportscenter last night for baseball highlights before I went to bed and for the first 30 minutes it was all about the Rutgers coach, Shaq getting his jersey retired and they briefly touched on Yu Darvish's near perfect game. There was one or two more things but I was so angry I couldn't follow. You'd think opening day of baseball would get more highlights. Save the debates and controversy for the actual shows.
NYBowhunter.... it sounds like these boys are just about ready to step up and graduate to the Golf Channel. And....if they get a look at those Ta Tas on the Morning Drive.... well hell.... they're hooked for life. LOL
ESPN is no different than CNN, MSNBC or Fox. 24 hours of filler and they will suck the life out of any tidbit of info they can get their hands on all for the sake of burning up time.
