He had the day off from work so he headed back to the area Britney and I walked Saturday. He found 3. He was hoping to find the other side to the big one we found Saturday. Well he found it and it scored 75 3/8. His biggest shed to date. He said we had been fairly close to it Saturday according to our boot tracks ( 40 - 50 yards ). The buck dropped it on a trail going through a cattail slough. I am blaming Britney for not finding it. Tim
Tyler is paying the price today. He has light complexion unlike Britney and I. Gets it from his mom. I am tan/wind burned year round as I spend a lot of time out in the elements. His face looks the color of the reddest lobster you've ever seen and blistered a bit. Snow with the sun reflecting off it did him no favors yesterday. Usually he is out enough in the past where it hasn't been a problem. This winter was cold and nasty so he has stayed in most of it. I had the wife pick up some sunblock today since she had to run to town to gets some aloe vera gel for him. He won't be going out this weekend to shed hunt with us since he has to work but we will be prepared for the next time. Be careful out there if you are fair skinned. Tim
