My first fresh match set I have ever found, one was half way covered by snow with the G3 and a little of the G2 sticking out. I was walking on the most beat down trail from bedding to food and it was 2 yards off the trail. After finding that one I kept walking down the trail to the cedars where the deer have been browsing/bedding and quickly found the matching side in a bed about 100 yards away. This has been the first good weekend in my area to look for sheds because the snow is finally disappearing and I'm afraid the shed hunting will be cut short with turkey hunting starting next weekend already. He has two legal points coming off his bases, and matching split G2's. I just gained access to shed hunt this piece and am working on getting permission to bow hunt it next fall. One of the pieces I hunt now is less than a mile from this block but I do not have any pictures of him. Those two put me at 7 total for the year.
Great Set! I plan on heading out that way Friday to do some looking. I'll definitely be hitting up the cedar areas.
