I want to take some pics of my new bow. What is the best way to take pictures of a bow? Seems there was no easy place to put it to get a decent picture. Wasn't sure where to post this question. Thanks
Bows can be tricky. Their complex shape and fine lines can get lost in a busy background. Try and find a contrasting background. If your bow is all camo, either black or light colors might work. If it's black, lighter colors are best. I often will stand the bow up by attaching two arrows to the string and using them as kickstands to make a tripod with the lower cam or limb. this allows you to get different angles. Hanging it from a bow hanger works as well. Other than that, try getting different angles and focal points to make it interesting. I'm gonna do a full shoot once I'm completely done with my build but here are some shots I have that I like.
Thanks guys...I was going to get all set up and take some pics on a dark sheet for my bow (Mossy oak infinity camo) and on a light one for my son's (skullworks camo) just laying Them on my bed but then I realized I don't have my camera here Pics of my son's and my new bows coming soon.
It is really hard to see some bow picture because there are only several people playing it.Well it is good to see some pictures here they are impressive.
Damn you guys have some nice pictures....I like the outdoor ones but there is still a crap ton of snow here...and i'm hoping to get one next to a dead deer in the fall :D
