    Hey guys:

I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions on a good beginners bow for a female. My fiance has been very interested in archery ever since i got my new bow. She asks me if she can shoot my bow but unfortunately my DL and DW are too much or her. so i wanted to surprise her with a bow that we an set up just for her. She is 5`4" and 125lbs. Im pretty excited that finally we can share a hobby. Anyways, any help will be greatly apreciated. Perhaps if you could let me know what bows your women Are shooting will be helpful.

My wife is looking at a Mathews Jewel, but they are a tad on the pricey side. I would go to your local shop and see if they have bows that she can shoot to see what she likes.

I agree letting her shoot them is really the best way to go.

My fiance shoots the Diamond Razor Edge and loves it. That bow has now been replaced by the Infinity Edge. Its a great bow for the price, super easy to adjust with no press and comes all setup to go. Would also have her look at the Mission line.

Take her to a bow shop and shoot a bunch and let her decide. Just like guns, vehicles and vacuum sweepers.

Thinking of getting an Infinite Edge for the wife and the kids. It's STUPID adjustable (draw weight from 15-70#!) and supposed to be a really nice bow for the price.

I suggest the PSE Chaos AD in the pink skull works, its completely adjustable and my wife fell in love with it after the firt few shts (never shot a day in her life) i wouldnt suggest the Chaos one its a lot less forgiving on the draw and given her size is similiar to my wifes she would more than likely be most comfortable with the Chaos AD Good Luck!

For Bear i suggest the Homewrecker. PSE you can get her the Chaos, Rally or Stilleto. Diamond by Bowtech, has the Infinite Edge. Take your pick she just needs to see what she likes to shoot best.

I just bought my girlfriend a Matthews Passion and she loves it. I would also recommend checking out the PSE Stiletto as mentioned above. Her friend has that bow and it shoots really well. I havent seen them shoot side by side to compare them yet.

My wife also shoots a Diamond Infinity Edge and is overjoyed with it. She matches the description of your fiancé and has no problem at all shooting it. The DIE has binary cams that reduce recoil considerably and has a smooth clean release. It can be adjusted from 5 lb draw weight to 70 lb draw weight and from 13 to 30 in draw length. It does not require a bow press or special tools other than a couple of allen wrenches to make adjustments. It can be acquired in ready to shoot packages for as low as $449.99 that include everything she will need to get started minus a bow case. This bow has the capability to grow with her and the accuracy to build her confidence. I highly recommend it.
