No correct answer to that. Just need to try them and find the one you like best. I used to have a wrist release but kept getting annoyed with it dangling around so I switched to a finger release and love it. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
I had that problem with the first release i had then i went with the trufire hardcore and it has a fold back system which is really nice. It gets it out of the way when its not needed.
I always have the same problem and just found a simple solution using a black hair band of my wife's.
I thought of sticking with a wrist release but I love running my camera on a tree arm so switching to a finger release was so much better. I dont have to worry about accidentally banging the release on the arm or camera and making any noise. And soon as I reach over to grab my bow it is all ready to go! That could be a problem with a release dangling around. I dont think ill have this problem next fall. Im excited to try and film my hunts next season.
I tuck my release into the elastic of my coats wrist cuffs. I keep it in there until I get up in the tree and am all settled in. I have not had to run a camera before so I might experience difficulties with it next year when I attempt to film
I guess I should answer your question though. I would suggest going to a local archery shop and see if you can try some different styles to see which you like the best.
I just went with a cheap Truball Stinger. It's a wrist relaease that I paid $30 for. I'll upgrade before deer season but it's doing the job far.
