spring turkey ????

Anyone beside me heading out with their bows for spring gobbler ?????

 

This is my first time trying. I have a decoy, blind and a few calls......am I missing anything else ?

Just got in from shooting on this awesome Wisconsin day. Felt great.

 

Picked up some new calls today first time with bow

 

What kind of broadhead will you be using ? I'm doing Shwacker or Killzone, haven't decided yet. I have leftovers of both from deer season

 

it'll be my third year chasing gobblers with my bow, it sure is a challenge

 

This is my first year with a bow. I think I'll use rages with 2" cutting diameter.

Really excited for the season to start up here in the northeast

 

This is my first year turkey hunting, and i'm gonna do it with my bow. Went out saturday for opening day and only saw one Tom. They weren't gobbling down here in Tn. yet. Hopefully this weekend will be better.

 

Season starts this Saturday. I'll be out there with bow in hand, and daughter in tow.

It is extremely difficult to run-n-gun them down here with a bow, so we'll be in the popup blind

Well if we don't hurry up and get some warm weather soon. We might need to add snow camo to the list. I drew the first season, and I will also be using my Bow.

 

Agreed. At this rate all the birds will still be in winter flock when season starts

 

I won't get out here in MN until the last few weeks of April, hopefully there's some birds left over from the shot gunners

 

Those shot gunners got nothing on us bow guys, StringPuller. Especially us with Mathews bows.
