Hello, new to bow hunting and hunting in general, hope to learn as much as I can. I live in N.E. Ohio so no shortage of opportunities for hunting, its something I've always wanted to do but never had anyone I know well to take me under there wing so ta speak and teach me I'm 45 now and my life has slowed enough to give this a go.....

Thank you for the warm welcome, I don't have a bow yet a work mate of mine loves Matthews so most likely that would be my first chose but my biggest issue is I'm 6'6" tall with long arms I was told my draw length would be 34-35 inches, any suggestions on a bow for me??

While Mathews makes some awesome bows(i shoot one myself), don't limit yourself to that just because your friend likes them. There is so many great bows out there that you may end up liking more. And about your draw length, I can't really help you out there. I would go to a shop and get measured up and ask them.

Welcome to the site and this great sport! You should make the trip over to IL in June for the G2G. Several of your fellow buckeye's will be in attendance!
