I got out of bowhunting 8 years ago. All I can say is things have really changed. I just bought a leftover 2012 Hoyt Rampage XT. It's a bare bow for now, but not for long. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the future about setup, accessories, etc. Maybe I'll have a few successful hunts this year. The deer here are small and you're lucky to get one that scores over 120". The rut hits around the 2nd week of September so I'll be ready with my new bow this year. I'm looking forward to contributing what little knowledge I have as well as gaining a whole lot more knowledge.

Plenty of birds walking around in batchelor groups right now. It'll be a different story in a month when the season opens up. I'm thinking about using a bow this year. If I can get it set up in time I might just try it. Thanks for welcoming me aboard.
Pigs are open year round and are plentiful. Gonna use them as a warmup for deer season. I need some meat for the freezer so it's a win win.
