Black Squirrel

Now that is cool....never even heard of one before.

 

Really? They are VERY common here. I see 2 at least every day in deer season. Im actually very surprised you have never heard of them. I see black squirrels as often as I see red and gray squirrels.

 

They're pretty common in MN as well. At least in the northern half

 

I saw one in upper state NY cool pic.

Never seen one in South Dakota. I did get turned around in Omaha once and I swear the squirrels were black in the part I ended up in.

 

This is pretty cool to see that they're common for some of us, and un-heard of for others.

There's not any in Tennessee that I know of...we have a lot of fox squirrels

Very cool. I don't know that they are common here in southern Indiana.

If anyone is ever passing through Olney, Illinois I know they have a bunch of white squirrels running around town. Apparently they are quite protective of them.

I have seen a few here (central Wisconsin). Still kinda rare I think and cool to see.

 

This is from west central Wi. Theres 2 on another farm I hunt but haven't gotten pics of them. I had several pics of this guy and this was the best. Glad I kept it cause I accidently deleted the others.

 

I've seen a few in NE Tennessee Sullivan Co. In Cherokee Nat. Forest close to Bristol! Not real common but there are some , for what it's worth.

Really?! We've got about half a MILLION of them running around...the scum of the squirrels...but they still taste great :D

 

The black squirrels? Must be a northern Indiana thing.
