Hi guys, First of all, i hope you'll forgive my mistakes. As you imagine, english is not my first language. So...i live in the south-west of France, in a town called Bordeaux (Maybe you heard about the wine). I bowhunt since a couple of years, principally the roe deer and the wild hog. I have a 60# HOYT ULTRASPORT and a 55# BEAR KODIAK recurve . Why am i here and not on a french forum ? Because you guys invented that game, and everything we know about bowhunting in France comes from USA. I have everything to learn and i'm very happy to join you.
Thank you all !! This is my playground : The Roe deer (Capreolus) We have a lot of them. They are very nice to hunt especially during the reproduction in the summer. The Elaph deer (Cervus elaphus) A rare game. Only a few (and rich : About 800$ for one animal) people can hunt him with a bow. And the hog (Sus Scrofa) Ennemy of the farmers, he's wild and fast. He defends himself if wounded. My favourite game. It's nice to share that with you
Welcome to the site! I am Polish so I know a lot about the hunting and traditions in Europe. I hope to go to Europe one day myself and be able to bow hunt.
awesome! Welcome Cyrano. It will be great to hear from you and have you share some hunting experiences from such a different culture and such different animals!
