great rest, had one for about 3 or 4 years. only down side is if u start getting into speed around 300 it bounces back up and turns your arrow flight off some. I bought the hd series and dont have that problem any more

I have one on my Mission Riot. I removed the top bar because the vanes were making contact, but now it works perfect. I really like it. I really like the fact that it won't drop if you let down slow. I have a Rip Cord on my Hoyt and if I let down it drops. I think for the $55 I paid for it, it's a great rest.

For the few extra bucks I would upgrade to the HDX model. Its well worth it. It eliminates ALL problems with that model. No bounce back, can handle any IBO speed. I have never had a single problem and I have had the original HD model for three years.

Can't compare it to the hunter, but really like my HDX - worth the money in my mind

Spend the extra $ & get the ultra HDX. Just saying.

    Why?

There are advantages to the more expensive models but the hunter model works flawlessly when the person setting them up knows what they are doing.

I believe the root cause of most tuning issues with the hunter models stem from issues brought up in this video

I will add there was 1 time I had to use the TL1 launcher. It was on a Hoyt vectrix. This bow is the only bow I know of that the spot hogg whammy would not work on so when I set the qad up on it, I knew there might be an issue. I had a tuning issue at first and changed the arm and it worked perfectly. It had nothing to do with speed of bow.

Agree with this I have both models and think the HD is nice but not worth the extra money. The hunter model worked just fine for me I think it's a great rest
