Stability or speed? Bcy trophy or 452x for stability or 8190 for speed a partial stability.

I use winners choice also and they have been great but I haven't used any other aftermarket brand so I can't say if they are better or worse than any others out there but I'm happy with them.

Same with me. I heard octane makes good strings as well, but i never had one just shoot them on bowtechs, but not nearly enough to say how good they are.

Thanks for your help everyone, I think I might go with winners choice
But I just hope I can fit them on, I have the Browning Mirage Hunter I'm guessing from 1990

Hi. I see that this an old thread so I am hoping to get a reply. I recently acquired an old Darton Lightning with a broken string and have not been able to get any clear information regarding the proper string material to use or the correct string length. Anyone that can provide me with any information.

    Hey Louis,
That bow is from the 1990'S I am unsure of the string length but the string material you need for it is BCY B55 or any Dacron product

Do you have any idea on string length? I'm showing specs for several varieties of the lightning. Depending what you have you may need dacron, fast flight or D97.
