Todd/Justin, as I am just now watching S2 episodes and have noticed Todd mentioning hanging little trinkets from the rear view mirror, I wanted to mention that in some states, this practice could lead to a citation being issued. Don't want to throw a wet blanket on the idea as I like the idea of hanging those mini antlers! WI is one of those states that will issue citations or at least they used to. Enforcement is/was a secondary violation-meaning that you would not be pulled over and ticketed solely because of this. I know, WISCONSIN!! Don't stop pushing the idea. People need to make their own decisions....
Seriously? First they try to take our 30 round clips and now you're telling us to remove danglies from the rear view? Too soon...
So, maybe I'd better back up and explain how this thread came to be. I was watching one of the season 2 episodes with my college aged daughter (who also hunts) and Todd was hawking the mini antlers as a cool gift and that you could put them on the rear view mirror. My daughter says, "not in Wisconsin!" Then she goes on to tell me that she got a written warning for "obstructed view" at college for.....wait for it...........her student parking pass!! What's next? The handicap placard?? Of course, knowing that this warning was a secondary violation, I did have to ask why she got stopped in the first place. And did she get a ticket she didn't want to tell me about? LOL
Its illegal in alot of places. So is having your arm out of the window in the summertime. I think youll be safe.
Actually, it is not. Your not supposed to have ANYTHING blocking your view. They dont get enforced often though.
I believe "technically" it's illegal in most places, but not very heavily enforced. I personally am not too worried about it - the cops can't see them through my illegally tinted windows.
I have numerous feathers in a bundle on the rearview...tucked up behind it so they are obstructed from my view by the mirror itself. It is illegal in MI and I have been pulled over with them there and never even been mentioned. That being said I belive possessing have those feathers is prob'ly illegal to(actually I know it is).
The only thing wrong with this thread is your typing WI wrong. Its Wiscooooonson!! Accents of those dang northerners Spit it out boys, no need to drag the con part out
I think the solution is to just not let the cheeseheads watch BHOD! I see stuff all the time that people do that is illegal in IL. This thread is so stupid! Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
