Hi gang, some of you may recognize my ID from the Realtree forums. I enjoy watching the video series at BH and reading some of the blogs. Read an article the other day about shooting form at the moment of truth. It helped explain why I am 1 for 5 this year - remember to bend at the waist! Anyway, my truck broke down at my hunting spot earlier this week and have made arrangements for a combination tow and introductory-to-bowhunting, tag-a-long hunt this afternoon. Conditions are favorable here in western NY, and the bucks have been very active, even in warm weather this year.
Thank you for all your replies. Today we got the purple beast back home via trailer. Introduced a buddy to bowhunting - hung an extra stand in my set - didn't see any deer tonight, but they are starting to combine the corn, so movement will pick up now. Next time out will likely be Monday AM.
