No. How was it when you shot it? Did you like it?

They are really good bows. I am buying the Z7 Extreme in a few weeks. Very quiet, very forgiving and really fast. I am a Mathews guy. My first Mathews bow was the FX, the the Drenalin and so on. You will not be disappointed with the Z7 Extreme!! Post a pic when you buy it!

Do yourself a favor and shoot as many different brands as you can before making a decision. Don't buy into the marketing hype of any manufacturer until you've shot it personally. You might be surprised by which bow you end up with.

i am not a brand guy, i shoot the bow that feels best to me at the time. but that being said i do not like the Mathews fat grip so i went with a hoyt, but shoot what feels good to you.

my dealer i go to carriers a few brands, mathews hoyt bear and all that i really liked the z7x prolly guna get it. it had a way better valley than the helim. they both drew nice and smooth but the helim seemed like it didnt have any valley to it and just wanted to go.

Test drive a few different ones will be your best bet. I have been shooting mathews for the past 10 years now and have just stayed with them. As far as the Z7 xtreme; I bought one back in December and traided it in on the Helim, not because it was the newer one; but for the reason I had trouble with groups past 40 yards with the xtreme. I beleive it is due to the shorter ata at 28" vs the Helim at 30". The xtreme was very smooth, fast , and quiet; but like I said before at 40+ yards and the groups really opened up. As for the Helim i can back off to 60 yards and hold good groups. the Helim does have a smaller valley with a solid wall to pull against something I really like. The draw stop can be removed for more of a valley. IMO the Helim is the best Mathews hunting rig yet.
