We got this buck on Cuddeback last year on some Private Land that we hunt. He only showed up at night. He is impressive for a NC deer to say the least. His left side is amazing, but his right side is missing a G3. It is hard to tell if it is broken off or just not there. Would you shoot him if you had a chance or let him walk until the next year and see if he grows that missing G3 and possibly more?
That'd be hard man, I guess it depends on if you think the guys around you would shoot him... Otherwise I would let him grow, he's definitely going to gain a lot.
I was born and raised in NC...if you see that deer you better put him in the truck! Thats a shooter all day long...especially in wake county . I might shoot him even here in the midwest. heck of a nice deer.
No question...close the deal. If NC is anything like where I have hunted in SC that is a giant buck! Good luck.
I would defiantly put an arrow through a buck like that in North Carolina! Or any other state for that matter.
