Just got bumped off the land that I hunt for the weekend. Bummer! The land owner has a group coming out to turkey hunt Saturday eve and Sunday morning. He's letting me hunt a different property that I've never been to. Hope I can put one on the board! Went out on thursday morning forgot my bag with all my calls...Set up on an intersection thats well traveled. As the sun was coming up the gobbling started right above me. Damn. They flew down and ran off. Hope my luck turns around!

 

Yeah all the different fields ive hunted so far all the birds are on the other side of the fence, So as far as my hunting has been going ive been on the wrong side of the fence!!! Going to night hopefully things change tonight...

 

Got one guys! 1st one with the bow! I'll get the photos and score posted by Monday. Been super busy with work.

 

Congrats!!! Sweet we are on the score board!!! I shot under a Gobbler last night!! Glad we got one teammate that can lay a bird down..

 

Well I got it done on the last morning I had to hunt! 1st turkey with a bow! This was my second ever turkey. He was not huge but I was not going to be picky at this point. He was 14.5lbs 8.25 Beard 1'' and 1.25" spurs. I was hunting alone so the pictures are not that great. It took some fancy foot work to beat the timer on my camera but here he is :
