What compound bows out there are known for a smooth draw. Im looking to upgrade my bow from my current Parker Ez Draw.

I've heard the new Heli-m, some of the new Elites draw like a hot knife through butter. I'm a big fan of the way my Strother pulls. Smooth from start to finish. I'm excited to try out their new line in the next week or two when the local pro shop gets their order in.

Honestly I thought Vector was smoother than the Heli. JMHO.

The bottom line is you are going to need to shoot them yourself to decide.

I have drawn a few Elite bows, and shot my brothers. Those things are amazingly smooth. I have a buddy that is a Hoyt fanatic and the look on his face when I had him draw an Elite was priceless.

Mathews' EZ7, or drop back to a DXT or Drenalin.

Like bigstick said, go shoot them. For example, I think the 2012 Element RKT is smoother than the HeliM. Thats just be. Others think opposite.

Personally I prefer the Fuel cam bows from Hoyt but, I haven't shot an Elite yet and i hear they are slick as silk. You just have to try them out. Heck its fun shooting them all and comparing.

It's been said, quite often... the Elite Pure is one of the smoothest drawing bows... ever.

I tried firing some Hoyts at a local archery shop, but didn't like the grip. but i don't have any complaints about the draw. It looks like i will go for a Matthews, I'm just not sure if I'm going to get a Monster or Heli-m.

    The Strother Archery bows
    The 2012 Hoyt RKT
    The Mathews Switchback
Mostly, whichever bow fits YOU best!

I just personally got to try out the Elite bows and I still think my Strother Inspire from last year draws better.

It'll be a week or two till the get the new Strothers in, but don't pass up an opportunity to shoot one before you jump on the Mathews bandwagon.

The biggest mistake you can make is not trying all of the bows on the shelf, regardless of what your friends tell you they think is good, or what the salesman puts into your hands. You'll be the one shooting this bow, make sure it's one you actually enjoy shooting.

I have shot a lot of bows and Elite is the smoothest draw cycle I have experienced to date. No real valley to speak of and an incredible back wall.

I had been a Hoyt guy and when I went to pick out my new Hoyt last spring, I came home an Elite shooter. IMO the Hoyt's didnt come close to the smooth draw of the Elite Pure. Very close behind that was the EZ7.

Like other have said, go shoot them and decide for yourself. Everyone will have a different definition of "smooth". My favorite smooth draw bows are the Mathews EZ7 and the new Helim. Elite makes a couple that have a nice smooth draw as well as Bear too.
