    Not speaking from personal experience but i would think it has to be later then up north by a month or 6 weeks the rut down there is in december. Id bet its march.

    I'm new to shed hunting, but look at doing some of it this year. I'm in SETX and my buddy I'm on a lease with starts finding them in February-March. There could be occasional antlers on the ground now though. Good luck to you!
