I've found some extremely old elk sheds this spring buried in the swamp. The research I've done tells me they are approx. 120-180 years old! Anybody have any tips on how to preserve these things? Also, does anyone have any ideas who I could get in touch with to have these things dated? The base on the shorter one measures 12 5/8"! I should add... Finding Elk antlers in my area is about as rare as finding a unicorn... with a jackelope riding on his back... wearing a sombrero.
