I'm here. I'm just fixing to start pouring the corn to the deer within the next week. I'm running 9 cameras so hopefully that will help me get close to some of the sheds. My main goal this year is to find the sheds from a buck I call mr clean. If I do it will be the third set that I have from him. I'm also gonna try and find at least 40 again this year. I'm ready to start looking!

Checkin in, I'm ready for another shed season, I too am fixing to fill the feeder and find a few hit list bucks that have survived. I also picked up a bunch of new spots in PA and Ohio that look promising.

I will be putting some corn out within a week or two. The rifle season here really took it's toll on the bucks. We lost about 85% of buck population during rifle season so from the 3 cameras I checked last I only have 2 small bucks. I'm going to have to do a lot of traveling this year and I'm already planning on going to KS public again as well as up in northern Nebraska and possibly to the south west/central part of the state.

I am planning on heading to Kansas this Saturday to do some shed season scouting as well as look around a bit for some old sheds.

Walked 10 miles today in Kansas, didn't find any sheds but found some good sign. Also found 2 dead bucks. [IMG][IMG]

Sounds good to me Hoyt. You got my vote. From the looks of things, I have no bucks that have shed yet. I checked cams a couple of days ago and everything is holding tight, about what I expected. I'd imagine that it will be the end of the first week of February before I start to see much of anything happen. Nevertheless, I'll be looking tomorrow while I'm out setting traps. There is one buck in particular that I haven't seen in awhile and hope to find him if he's dead.

Hoyt you have my vote. I checked camera's and nothing has started dropping yet. Heading out in another week or so to try again.

I'm ok with whoever wants to be captain, (Hoyt). I too have pics of all bucks holding still at the main farm I hunt may start checking the fields at other locations I hunt tho. Looking to find sheds to a huge double split G2 Buck that has been eluding me the past two seasons, luckily he survived again this year. I don't have any pics of him post season but the land owner has seen him. Hoping he shows up on cam and gets comfortable enough to drop the bone on the farm!

Ok I can be captain. I hardly have any bucks on camera right now because a lot of them got shot during rifle season. I do have a picture of a little buck with 1 side though. I won't start looking hard until mid Feb. And I'm going to have to travel a lot if I want to find a lot. Whenever I'm out there I'm always looking for sheds. I did not find any during deer season which was kind of a bummer. I can't wait to get out there though!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention.....my dog Bruce has been trained to find sheds and will tagging along with me this year. I'm super excited to take my buddy to the woods with me. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.

Awesome! I've always wanted a shed dog. You find quite a few anyway so with the dog you should have more!
